The Kind of Art that moves me...

I think the threshold for what is considered real filmmaking will always be relative but it has definitely been lowered. My heart dropped when I saw this trailer...I don't think I've been excited in this way by a trailer since one of the Green Knight trailers (and it's music).

Can we put some respect on Gareth Edwards' name?

He directed the best Godzilla film ever made. He followed that up in 2016 with Rogue One, which in my opinion, was leaps and bound better than The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Rise of Skywalker, all of which are single-watches for me. It's also better than Solo, but that film doesn't insult and disregard it's source material in the same way the modern Star Wars trilogy has.

I'm also excited to see John David Washington in another sci-fi outing (he starred in Christopher Nolan's TENET). I always wished his father would do more science fiction films...
