Veo 3 Prompting Session: Hip-Hop Music Video Snippet

By now, if you've been following in thing Veo 3 related, you have see a plethora of videos generated, a number of which have been snippets of music videos or live audience concerts/performances.

Our Creative Team wanted to see how close we could come to a viable final product. Our parameters were:

• genre-authentic appearance/apparel

• genre-authentic music

• genre-authentic visual presentation

• singing/rapping rhythmically/in sync with music

Veo 3 was able to nail the first three qualifiers with ease.

The inclusion of "urban fashion attire" is the only reference to clothing given to the AI...which we did find somewhat impressive - we imagined we'd have to be more specific (and have to expend multiple prompts in error).

The music and production was authentic in its instrumentation but often disjointed or not necessarily locked in with the lyrics.

We did not provide much detail for the visual style beyond: "cinematic, hip-hop music video style"

Our biggest takeaway? Adding the "beats per minute" can substantially improve the overall rhythmic delivery. This isn't always the case but we saw a noticeable spike in quality when we did add this information. ("85 bpm")

The final two examples are the highlight our findings from this session. We will let you judge the results...
